The
African Women
Economic Consortium is
a
non-profit 501 (C)(3) organization founded
in 2002 as an organization of women of diverse
social, educational and spiritual backgrounds
who have recognized the need for proactive
action for change in the lives of women and
children locally, nationally and globally.
Our
mission is to enrich and empower families
through our housing initiative, the
Village of Hope.
They
abuse, sodomize and discard African children like
old furniture and rag dolls. As parents convinced
that their children are Witches and the cause of
the ills in the African society, pay huge sums of
money to wayward and religious charlatans all in
the name of God. Everyone with any sense certainly
should understand that people ascribed that level
of power should be able to defend themselves. Yet
these helpless and defenseless African children
presumed to have destructive powers, have become
the latest victims of religious zealotry. Many child
victims of the devastation of HIV/AIDS languish
in the streets or some orphanages throughout Africa.
AWEC is making it our responsibility
to protect and nuture these children in the VILLAGE
OF HOPE.
Join us to
save these children while educating the community
about the travesty of this historic attack on African
Children. If you know that God does not consent
to the abuse or abandonment of little children,
please donate for the construction of these villages
throughout Africa. Please
Donate to our $5MARATHON.

THE
AFRICAN RENAISSANCE STATUE IN SENEGAL (AWAY.COM)
Towering over the capital city of Dakar is the
African Renaissance Monument, a 160-foot statue
depicting a man rising triumphantly from a volcano
with his outstretched arms wrapped around his
wife and child. The monument, designed by a
Senegalese artist but constructed by North Korean
workers, is a symbol of Africa's rise from centuries
of intolerance and racism...continue
